Father's day Fun at Makansutra Food Fest

(Credits to SM Megamall for the photo)

Waldy and I have always been a foodie. We love to try new dishes and we loooove food!
What better way to treat him on Father's day? We head over to SM Megamall to explore Singapore's famous Makansutra Hawker streetfood. We sampled over 12 best recipe they offer, from Laksa, Biryani, Sambal, Nasi Lemak, Thai Chicken chop, the famous Hainanese Chicken rice and many more! It felt like we've travelled the street of Singapore on a budget with a full and happy tummy. What's even better is we get to spend this day with our family since SM Megamall is just one kembot away!

Another highlight of the event is the Sambal Eating Challenge, and I so ecstatic to say that Waldy won the 1st Price for finishing the spicy noodle soup fastest! Now we have 700 worth of GC to spend for more Makansutra's dishes!

I also had the opportunity to learn how to cook spicy crab and the Salted Egg Pork Dish from Old Chun Kee.
You can head over to Mega Fashion Hall from June 16 to June 21 to savor 12 authentic Singapore-style streetfood or you can visit them at 2L Mega A ( beside Burger King) if you want to try all their dishes.

In line with Safeguard's 50th year tradition of  hand washing education to prevent diseases and save lives, they led a movement to healthier Philippines through the Global Handwashing Day (GHD) celebration at Baseco Compound in Manila last October 12. It has been discovered that Filipinos touch more than 23 other people per day, summing up to more than 90 ‘touches’ a day on average. However, they wash our hands only 5 times a day! There are other shocking findings that show opportunities for improvement on handwashing habits particular on specific occasions: After using the toilet: ·          7 out of 10 Filipinos CLAIM to wash their hands after using the toilet but—ONLY 2 out of 10 really do. ·          A shocking 64% of Filipinas DO NOT wash their hands at all after using a mall toilet.
