Spalding Summer Camp Schedule 2017

If you are looking for an activity that will train your kid or kids 6 to 17 years of age, enrol him/her or them at Spalding Summer Camp 2017.

Spalding Summer Camp is run by The Hoops School. The Hoops School was established in year 2002 to teach kids the correct way of playing basketball, from physical skills and drills and the mental aspects as well. They started at Meralco Gym, but now conducts its camps and clinics in more than 70 venues nationwide, including schools, malls and company gyms.

Hoops School was founded by former PBL Commissioner and PBA Team Manager Charlie Favis and was ably assisted by the PBA’s only 7-time Best Import Bobby Parks.

Why enrol at Spalding Basketball Camp under Hoops School? Well, The Hoops School was the first to introduce the "FREE EVERYTHING PROGRAM FOR KIDS", FIRST  to introduce AV Presentations and Video Viewing of Basketball Drills and US Clinics, FIRST  to introduce New Basketball Technology and the latest in Training Aids, FIRST  to introduce the Ben Wallace Inflatable Defender to help shooters, FIRST  in Asia to introduce the NOAH Select Computerized Shooting Analyzer, FIRST  to introduce the BRITEN  Passing Toss Back, FIRST  to introduce the Rite Flight Ball and the Rite Way Balls. Plus, their freebies, venues, to up-to-date instructionals, to fantastic coaches and trainors. are deinitely better than other basketball clinics.

Most of their instructors have been carefully selected – many are former team trainers and coaches, most of whom have BS-Education degrees in Physical Education. This is on purpose because they are more patient with kids. Other coaches who have trained abroad, like one Coach who attended several coaching clinics in Europe, another who attended a coaching clinic in South Korea, a third coach who is presently teaching basketball at the 5-Star Camps in the US. Celeb for a Day

Being a mom is rewarding and hard.  More often, we neglect our own selves because we always have to put our families before us. There are mommies who juggles family and career at the same time. Stay-at-home moms who focus in taking care of the family and household chores. Mommies who are working at home, doing online business, direct-selling, by appointment businesses like Financial Planners. Single-mothers who are both mom/dad and the breadwinner of the family. The list goes on. For every family, there is a unique kind of supermoms. I felt ecstatic when Waldy told me that I was one of the 5 chosen moms who will get a make over from SM Woman. He nominated me for SM Supermom Makeover and got picked out of more than 500 nominees. It was awesome!  I got a small glimpse of what celebrities and hosts do in photo and video shoots. We had before and after pictorial, professional make up artist and a professional stylist, Levenson Rodriguez to give us a day of transfo...

Learning Made Extraordinary!

Every school break, we find it hard to look for an interesting summer program where Izhi would be interested in. I tried ballet for her when she was 6, but dancing isn't her first love. We suggested that she try basketball, swimming, theater and so on to no luck.  However, several schools who gave them computer knowledge test, visited us at home and offered a discount for us to enroll Izhi to their basic programming workshop. Apparently, Izhi has achieved high marks on their exams and is offering us a discount upon enrolling. We discussed the matter and decided to decline since we think that she will just forget the lessons since she won't be doing it often. We are looking for something that will bring out the creativity in her. We were invited to a one day free workshop at SparkleLab where we can try their programs. I must say I was impressed! The place was laid-back kinda homey where strange and wonderful things happen. There were Lego's, sewing kits, code, motor...
