Be our Guest!

We all have our favorite Disney Princess' movies, our most loved characters and the most hated villains.

Mine was and still, The Beauty and the Beast. I guess its the fact that Belle is such a dreamer like me, loves to read and imagine far-off places and different adventures. And its not only that, because the story is about learning to love despite appearance.

In a superficial age like we have today, its hard to find and learn to love someone who is not pretty, handsome, sexy or hot. Its difficult to appreciate someone who we think is below our superficial standards. Almost all  young relationships today are based on looks, on standards that are set by telenovelas, koreanovelas, and social medias. Younger generation does not know how and what to really look for in a person, this is the reason why many relationships fail.

I, myself is also guilty of this. When I was young, I always imagine myself being with a handsome and rich guy. But, as I go along my journey, I realized that what really matter is how that person will treat you. How your conversations will be like. How he smiles when that person sees you. How opposite you are but is still madly in-love with each other, so on and forth. I could go on and on, but I won't because its late as of writing this.

The story of Beauty and the Beast hits the spot for me. Its simple, classy and possible.

I was expecting to watch this after my birthday on Thursday with Izhi, but my Ate Joy surprised me. Credits to Ms. Mico of SM. It was an awesome experience to watch my favorite Disney love story on a big screen with all the other celebrities that I only get to see on TV. Feeling ko tuloy celebrity din ako. Hahaha!

Beauty and the Beast will be showing on March 16 at all SM malls.

Lily's Peanut Butter in Lite Version

Lily’s Peanut Butter, already 60 years in the industry, saw this rise in health consciousness, and has adapted accordingly through the peanut butter that has become a staple of many a Filipino household. After more than half a century of winning Filipino palates, Newborn Food Products Inc., the maker of Lily’s Peanut Butter, launched its newest product line, Lily’s Peanut Spread Lite, last August 14 at the Lily’s Lite in the City event, held at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City. The whole-day event, hosted by athlete-turned-celebrity-host Gretchen Ho, actor-model CJ Reyes, and singer-model John Pol Dimaculanga...
