Pioneer St. Market Halloween Party

Every October, its Izhi and I’s tradition to plan for her Halloween costume. It’s just a bit different this time since her papa just got better from sickness and Yuri already started a mild fever with cough and colds, add the fact that we still don’t have a party to attend to. So it was a bit of a cram when Ate joy invited us to go to Pioneer St. Market’s very first Halloween party.

Pioneer St. Market just opened last year and they are now a go-to place for all things gourmet such as pastas, burgers, fruit juices and organic fruits and vegetables that families can feast on.

It was a fun-filled afternoon packed with family activities such as Pumpkin Carving contest, Best Family Costume, the traditional trick’r treating that the kids loved, face painting. There were parents activities that we also enjoyed like Toddler house classes, Breastfeeding classes, Pre-natal and Post-natal Exercise classes.

I borrowed my Ate Joy's video of the event since we came a bit late.

It has been discovered that Filipinos touch more than 23 other people per day, summing up to more than 90 ‘touches’ a day on average. However, they wash our hands only 5 times a day! There are other shocking findings that show opportunities for improvement on handwashing habits particular on specific occasions: After using the toilet: ·          7 out of 10 Filipinos CLAIM to wash their hands after using the toilet but—ONLY 2 out of 10 really do. ·          A shocking 64% of Filipinas DO NOT wash their hands at all after using a mall toilet. Before eating and cooking: ·          It was observed that 60%...
